Q | On another note, what do you think of the Arcturians? On the scale of harmless to dangerous?

A | Unsurprisingly, I’m somewhat leery of any group of interdimensional beings that are ‘widely’ channeled.
Grammatical Side Note: Does one refer to galactics and aliens as ‘that’ or ‘who’ in order to be grammatically correct? That is for objects, animals, and places. Who is used to reference people. These beings are none of the above. I’m sticking with ‘who’ for galactics and ‘that’ for aliens and other dodgy entities. What do you think?
What sprang forth with this question was less of a focus on the Arcturians themselves — since I lack any strong convictions and mainly find them generally smarmy — and more of an approach to determine for yourself whether you want to interact with a particular group.
Pay attention to the individual or individuals with whom they chose to connect. You can tell volumes about a group of beings based on the people who are channeling them.
Would you want to grab coffee with the person relaying those messages? Does the channeler seem stable in his or her own life? Are you exhausted after listening? Do you leave the interaction feeling more confident in yourself? What type of audience is this attracting? Would you want to mingle in a room with those people?
The comments section can be a great way to ascertain more information about the crowd that has gathered. Are they putting the channeler on a pedestal or are they on a level playing field? Do the questions and comments seem like something you might have asked? Do you wonder how you arrived here and back away quickly and quietly hoping that no one has noticed you?
As for the Arcturians, waaaaaaay too many posts included the term ‘starseed’ and offered to help you determine if you are one. If you’ve been around here for any length of time, you know my stance on this. If you have to tell me that you’re a starseed, you’re not. Seeing this in a bio will prompt me to leave immediately. I’m also not keen on the term in general.
Maybe it’s because they haven’t picked a fight with me, but I find the Arcturians low on the scale of menacing. They remind me of the sleazy guy at the bar who is hitting on women in a really overt but unwanted way. You know his plays and can easily steer clear of him. If you engage, that’s on you.
According to some quick internet searches and the ever trustworthy Wikipedia, our modern concept of these beings is based on the work of Doreen Cannon and Edgar Cayce. This prompts a bit of a side eye from me as to how benevolent the Arcturians really are. Cannon and Cayce had little screening around the entities they engaged. So yeah, I’d avoid them.

Have a question of your own? Don’t hesitate to ask! Reply to this email, drop it in the comments, or submit it here. I answer as many as I can.
P.S. Watching this “April Energy Activation // Channeled Message from the Arcturian Council” made me immediately woozy and nauseated as though I had stepped off a tilt-o-wheel. So whatever it is that they’re pushing on our planet, no thanks. I don’t recommend that you click to watch, but you know me. I’ll always point you in the direction of what informed my stance, even if it makes me go ick.
