Mock Tucker Carlson all you want. He's not crazy.
It should be no surprise that I'm quick to validate an encounter such as Tucker's considering that I've been battling the unseen for years. There is nothing far fetched about being mauled by a demon. Dismissing the tangible impact of evil that dwells in the fourth dimension is far easier than acknowledging that beings from other planes of existence can leave claw marks from their attacks.
The first trick that evil pulls is the attempt to convince us it does not exist.
When that doesn't work, the next step is to have those around us perceive us as unhinged or insane. Isolation is key to the playbook of dark forces — divide and conquer is a tried and true battle tactic. The amplification of energy resulting from those who unwaveringly stand against evil coming together will be evil's undoing. Evil's solution — attempt to pick us off one by one.
We're in a very real battle between good and evil.
The ratio of light to dark has swung a bit too heavily toward the dark as evil gained the upper hand. Too much light means atrophy. A tiny bit of dark is all that's necessary for consciousness to expand. Not enough light leads to a world engulfed by darkness. We're steadily moving in this direction.
Fending off the advances of evil takes a lot of different shapes and requires countless iterations of how to effectively keep it at bay. Aliens and demons have a far stronger grasp on manipulating the human body and psyche than their benevolent counterparts. That requires us to adapt.
The methods that worked yesterday may be ineffective today as evil regrouped and launched a different attack. Do not become discouraged, tempting as that may be. We have the strength to continue to shine light into the darkness even under the most dire of circumstances.
It's easy to dismiss Tucker's experience by saying that he sleeps with four dogs. "Certainly one must have scratched him!" But here's the thing, there's an energetic difference. Anyone who has faced evil head on can distinguish between dogs and demons. A few decades in D.C. certainly equips Tucker to recognize evil.
Go ahead and mock him. Mock me. The words of humans are a minor inconvenience compared to the attacks of demons and aliens. Together we'll continue to thwart the spread of evil, regardless of the cost.
What's easy to forget when plagued with demons is that we're never actually alone fighting this battle. Even when we've been cornered and isolated and separated from the pack, we can energetically connect to find our way back.
Words have power. Song does too.
As I listen to Tulsi Gabbard recite the Declaration of Independence, I burst into tears. Not once. Not twice. Every time.
We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.
These words have been infused through hundreds of years of repetition. Freedom echoes through them. The darkness can't compete with that.
The same holds true for the National Anthem. The Doxology works the same way.
The power of a group coming together in unison is unparalleled. We don't all have to see the world the same way to find our thread of belief and cohesion. In joining voices we connect with anyone who has ever spoken these words or sung these songs.
Reduce the static of everyone pulling in different directions. Ignore the identity politics. They're in place to tear us apart.
Create. Build. Gather.
While not a complete solution, it's a great place to start. You are never alone.
